Christmas Eve Eve!!
And what better way to spend it than by meeting Sharon at Trafalgar Square (please wear your favourite hat) near the huge Christmas tree, an annual gift from Norway,

and wandering through Covent Garden and Soho, buying mistletoe and other last-minute items? (I can show you the photos, but I can't replicate the smoke and aroma of roasting chestnuts, the sharp coldness of the weather, the music of the carousel, or the air of excitement - Christmas in London!)

It's Christmas Eve here in the Lucky Country! We have Christmas Bush but no mistletoe. The only smoke is not from bushfires as you might imagine but from barbecues being fired up to check to see if they are in working order for the BIG DAY. The noises we hear today are gentle rain and cockatoos and lorikeets squabbling over the pecking order for the bird feeder. As for aromas - mainly chocolate and cookies baking as neighbours prepare to visit each other with Christmas goodies. But we do have the air of excitement in common. Weather forecast for Christmas Day in Sydney is windy and 25 degrees. Have a wonderful day!
Drew says Sharon should have been at home working!!!!!!!!!!
No spirit of adventure
But i had a lovely day, thank you for your company and supporting me in finding a pair of pears.
